Proclamation Day

Tuesday 15th March 2016 was an historic day in St. Peter and Pauls. Today our school, along with every other school in the country, celebrated Proclamation Day. We shared our Proclamation for a New Generation and remembered the important events of the Easter Rising one hundred years ago. The children sang Amhran na bhFiann as the National Flag was raised on our brand new flag pole. It. was a very special day and the children were delighted to be part of it.

Music with Maria

Maria "the music lady" paid our school a visit again this year and our class were lucky enough to get some time with her. She sang some lovely songs with the children. They enjoyed playing musical instruments with her and moving to music.

World Book Day!

Thursday 4th of March was World Book Day, which meant that the children got to dress up as a character from their favourite books. They all looked fantastic!!!

Football skills with Barry!

Every Thursday for the past few weeks the children have been learning and developing their Gaelic football skills with Barry. They really look forward to it every week and I can already see some future Dublin players in the bunch.
