Today we had great fun making some of our own Christmas cards. We were busy cutting and pasting, and of course writing a very important message to someone special. While we were busy getting creative we had a very special visitor......the main man himself Santa popped in to say a quick hello to all the boys and girls. We were so surprised and thrilled to see him. He left all the boys and girls a candy cane when he left, I don't know if any of them made it all the way home though.😊

Maths Stations!
Every Tuesday morning we have maths stations with Ms. Ua Conaill. The children are engaged in lots of different activities including, sorting, matching, number formation and patterns. The children really enjoy the stations as it gives them the opportunity to move around the room and to chop and change between activities which is great for keeping them engaged.
Soccer Skills!!!
Today we had our first soccer training session. The boys and girls were very excited and dying to get stuck in. The children played some great games including The Fox and the Hound which they really enjoyed! As it was our first session the children didn't get to use the balls, so they'll be all geared up to display their fancy footwork next week!

Happy Halloween!!!!
We had a brilliant day today in room 5! Everybody looked fantastic in their costumes. We had soldiers, witches, dead brides, monsters, princesses and even Mrs. Brown made an appearance! The sun was shining for our sponsored walk too and thanks to everybody's generosity we raised some money for our school. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed and also to the parents who helped us on our walk today. Have a brilliant Halloween everybody, enjoy the week off!😄
